Private Introductory Dive Charter for 4 Divers

Scuba dive the Gold Coast reefs and wrecks on your terms with your group of up to 4 people. Never scuba dived before? This private charter will take you and your family or friends on a Discover Scuba Diving Experience with a PADI Instructor. All equipment is supplied. Maximum group size is 4 + 1 spectator.

We will provide you our 6m dive boat, with a skipper, a friendly PADI Instructor, food and anything else you may need such as hire equipment or hotel transfers.

Dive Sites

Please note that we can't promise specific sites beforehand. We will suggest to you the best sites of the day based on conditions and try to get you to your favourite spot.

• The Scottish Prince Shipwreck (12m depth, 15min boat ride)
• Wave Break Island (3-12m depth, 10min boat ride)
• Gold Coast Seaway Drift Dive (12m depth, 10min boat ride)

Introductory Scuba Diving

• The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience is designed to give adventure seekers the opportunity of a once off diving experience under the supervision of an experienced PADI Instructor. 
• No prior experience is required however, you must be at least 12 years of age and of reasonable health. 
• Here is a link to our medical questionnaire. If you are able to answering all questions with 'NO', then no medical examination is needed and you are good to go.
• The day will start with some paperwork and a DVD to watch.
• A solid briefing will follow once we fitted you with all the scuba equipment you need.
• We will then head out on our boat to Wave Break Island for your first breath underwater.
• You will practice basic scuba skills in shallow water, followed by an excursion of the underwater world.
• Provided your instructor feels confident with you and if conditions allow it, the second dive will take place at the Scottish Prince Shipwreck, offshore of the Gold Coast Seaway or along the Seaway Rock Wall (Instructors call).

The Vessel

Our vessel is a fast custom built 6m rigid inflatable with aluminium hull. The boat is fully set up for diving with tank rack, ladder and a shade canopy. Further features include an audio system and all legally required safety equipment. Our top speed is 40knots with a cruising speed of 25 knots depending on wave height.

Meeting Point

This trip departs from Runaway Bay Marina. Your booking confirmation and reminder emails will include the address and a map. You can also find directions via Google Maps.

Hotel Transfers

If you need a hotel transfer, this can be booked as an extra on the next page. The pickup time is usually between 45min and 60min prior to the advertised meeting time but depends on your location. We will confirm the exact meeting time via sms and email on the evening before the trip. Please be on time as the shuttle can't wait.
